Started in Austin, TX in 2010, Chameleon Cold-Brew has been fueling makers around the world ever since. As the pioneer of cold brew, Chameleon was the first fair trade and organic cold brew in the United States.
We partnered with Chameleon in 2017 to introduce their new brand position, “Made For Makers,” and create a branded e-commerce experience that would reach a wider audience and help them stay #1.
To capture Chameleon’s spirit and tell their story with character we produced Maker stories, lifestyle and product photography, a new brand illustration style, and drank our fair share of OG cold brew in the process.
Chameleon had dominated US retail for years, but had invested very little in DTC, and the brand needed to build an experience that extended their beloved brand to new audiences. E-commerce represented not only a sales channel, but a rich opportunity to tell their story and educate consumers through recipes, articles, and other content.
We worked closely with the CCB marketing team to develop a robust strategy that included a custom recipe library, a custom store-finder, new ways to shop their expanding product catalog, and experiences that told the story of the company and their sustainability.
Since partnering with Grizzly, CCB’s e-commerce business has grown tremendously and the brand was acquired by Nestle. The new site is crushing our shared goals and getting the good stuff into the hands of makers. Everywhere.
