We worked with Ankari Floruss, a footwear brand started by two of the world’s most in-demand menswear influencers, to establish an exciting, differentiated place in fashion and culture at large through a brand identity project and adjacent eCommerce experience.

Ankari Floruss is a footwear brand started by two of the world’s most in-demand menswear influencers, Moti Ankari and Marcel Floruss, with a clear vision for their product—to design and create luxury footwear with everyday style.

We were asked to help them find their place in the noisy world of fashion and D2C brands, evolve their visual identity and brand experience, and help them launch onto a big stage with a capsule collection at Nordstrom.

Moti and Marcel’s philosophy was simple—fashion doesn’t need to be complex. So they designed a versatile collection of shoes made in Italy, one for each day of the week. They built a passionate following of guys that connected with the brand through their social reach and felt empowered by the simplicity and versatility of the brand’s approach.

The brand was ready for growth, so we brought “Every Day Style” to life through new messaging and positioning, and an evolved identity system that introduced a balance of high-street luxury and streetwear attitude.

Alongside design and visual communication, we built a new branded eCommerce experience for Ankari Floruss, connected the brand to new customers through paid media campaigns, and built its customer base through a new email strategy. Our ultimate goal was building an experience that was both highly usable and intentionally narrative-driven.

Through this partnership, we were able to bring Ankari Floruss’ fashion to the forefront of culture, telling its story with content and campaigns to take it from influencer brand to influential brand. In fact, it even won “Best Emerging Brand” at Project 2020. Together, we created an impact on both the brand’s customers and fashion at large that will continue to grow as the brand develops in the future.
